Next scrimmage

Is this coming Wednesday.
Hope as many of you can come as possible and bring along friends too :)

This week's paddling

Hi all,
Looks like we may get a fair bit of rain and some thunderstorms at Monday's practice.
Will move it indoors if that's the case - you should show up at the Millvale Boathouse at 5:30 p.m. still.

There's also been a standing invitation from the Paddlers for Peace group that meets on Thursdays for the next four weeks (from Aug 23rd onwards). Contact me if you want more information.

Cheers!

Paddling this week

Hi all,
Sorry to have been out of commission this week. Promise I'll be fully fit by next Monday!

Practice this evening - UPDATE!
Mike Vargo will be down at Washington's Landing to take out kayak's with anyone who want to go out. Thank you Mike :)

This Saturday, the adult team are hosting an Open Paddle, which will start at 9 a.m. at the Millvale docks.
Feel free to come and along and bring any friends who might like to give paddling a try :)

Extra Paddling this Thursday

As I mentioned at practice yesterday, any of you who can make it should come down to the the docks at Millvale for another short scrimmage with the adult dragon boat league and the Paddlers for Peace.

It should be a good time and there'll be food afterwards :)

Practice this Wednesday (7/18)

Will be at the Washington's Landing boat house.

We'll be taking kayaks out.

It does look like the weather may not cooperate for on-the-water activities, and if that is the case, we'll do an indoor workout (some light erg pieces and group 'core' excercises... more fun than it sounds on paper, I promise!)

See you there.
